It's great being back in New Zealand at the moment. There is a such a strong arts and crafts community here and there is always so much great work to see.
The other day I came across the stunning work of Sharon Finn who constructs the most amazing work with cages, chandeliers and bodices using vintage jewellery, buttons, crystals and more.
You can see more on her website. Or visit the showroom at 151 Newton Rd, Newton, Auckland.
Today we saw possibly the cutest thing ever. Driving just north of Kaikoura (in New Zealands South Island) we came across the Ohau stream walk. 10mins to a beautiful waterfall that also doubles as a nursery for baby seals while their mothers are off gathering food. They came right up to us and were happy to play tug with bits of bark or fetch sticks. So cute!
Wow its been a long time coming! I've been a bit distracted with getting 'i do' it yourself set up, and I've had these poppy photos sitting around on my desktop for months meaning to do something with them. Well, I've finally got a bit of time off in New Zealand at the moment and I managed to get the images finished on the plane on the way over. Will put them on the shop for sale soon.
We're on redbubble! Now you can easily buy our images as prints, cards and canvases. Check out the site here.
At the south end of Bondi Beach, Sydney, is the iconic Icebergs pool. Aaron was out again this weekend at a silly time to get this great shot.
A few weeks ago I was flying over Lake Eyre which was actually flooded at the time. Looked like an amazing place to take photos. Sydney-sider Murray Fredericks has been photographing the area since 2003 and his latest pictures are just beautiful. So simple but so stunning.
