We've been busy this past year with lots of little design jobs and I thought why not make it a regular feature? So to start with creative monsoon will now be offering banner design perfect for blogs or etsy shops - and they come with a free avatar. Each week we'll upload a new one off designs to our etsy shop and custom work is always welcome.

This morning we took 14 weeks old Scampi to Cafe Bones, a doggy cafe in Leichhardt. It was a crazy place but great for a bite to eat and for the dogs to play. A warning though, it is a high crime rate area, muggings and thefts are common. After only a few minutes we were subjected to a co-ordinated Beagle attack, as one distracted us the other jumped on the table and drank our coffee. Scampi was knocked aside and his 'puppychino' nicked by several other dogs. :)

But then guess who we bumped into? We spotted another Frenchie and went over to say hello - it was Frankie, Scampi's sister! They had a lovely reunion biting and playing.

It's been a while since we added some new work, but with Christmas on it's way I started thinking about some beautifully peaceful sky shots taken in France last year. Calm and relaxing, this would make a great print for a bedroom.

I'm loving our new DIY stationery over on 'i do' it yourself. So colourful and fun, hopefully there are some DIY brides out there who like it too :)

Yeay! We made the homepage of etsy today for the first time, what a fluke I just happened to log in and catch it! It was our 'Flowerbox in Paris' print from a selection I chose to go with 'i do' it yourself's french fancy wedding theme that we're currently updating.

Soon to be our new family member, we pick him up in a month.

Here's a little look at something new I'm working on at the moment. Titled 'Nature Abstract I' until I can think of something a little more interesting. I think its pretty striking and would look great blown up to a really big size. All for sale on the redbubble site.

I decided that I've been having so much fun putting together mood boards for 'i do' it yourself, I'm going to start making more of them on creative monsoon. So here we go, this is the week that was:

• I bought this beautiful ring yesterday from etsy seller Linkel Designs

• Been swimming in beauty products this week, my desk is surrounded! But my absolute favourite has to be the Rock Princess perfume by Vera Wang.

• Finally after so many test pots we've got the right shade of white picked out to paint our house - which is great because I'd started to get a bit sick of white.

• Summer dress shopping!

• Our Jacaranda print has been getting some lovely feedback and was featured in an etsy treasury (which is where I spotted the lovely flower ring)

Happy Fathers Day! See, I got it right. I'll never be cake maker then, least not one of these guys...

 

Earlier this month we went back to NZ and we've finally got through all the photos from the trip. I'm still working on a few 'arty' shots but Aaron's done some amazing panoramics, (click on them for a bigger view).
