I came across some really beautiful examples of typography today featured on tripwire magazines site. Amazing combinations of type and illustration.
This morning we took 14 weeks old Scampi to Cafe Bones, a doggy cafe in Leichhardt. It was a crazy place but great for a bite to eat and for the dogs to play. A warning though, it is a high crime rate area, muggings and thefts are common. After only a few minutes we were subjected to a co-ordinated Beagle attack, as one distracted us the other jumped on the table and drank our coffee. Scampi was knocked aside and his 'puppychino' nicked by several other dogs. :)
But then guess who we bumped into? We spotted another Frenchie and went over to say hello - it was Frankie, Scampi's sister! They had a lovely reunion biting and playing.
It's been a while since we added some new work, but with Christmas on it's way I started thinking about some beautifully peaceful sky shots taken in France last year. Calm and relaxing, this would make a great print for a bedroom.
Available through our redbubble store.
It's getting close! Christmas is nearly here, but there is still just enough time to get your creative monsoon orders in.

I came across the work of MonAlisa Design at a craft fair a few months ago and I've been meaning to post something. With Christmas just round the corner make sure you check out her etsy store, my favourites are the beautiful baby mobiles and birds (called tweets)- so cute.
If there is one thing I really hate it's a boring ugly old plug spoiling a nicely designed kitchen or bathroom. Well, finally someone came up with a solution. Water stopping water is definitely on my shopping list.

I'm so pleased with the way this shot turned out just had to share. Busy building the wedding stationery website over on 'i do' it yourself, and putting together some groups shots of the ranges. Not bad for a first attempt, off to do the rest.
I'm a big fan of messing around with the old eye chart design, and I'm loving this screen print by New Zealand artist Brad Novak. An eye chart for Aotearoa. Very cool.
I've been keeping my mummy VERY VERY busy, soon I promise to settle down so she can get some work done :)
Yeay! Our 2010 calendar is out! Featuring all of our most popular photographic prints its a great pressie idea for only $27 via our redbubble page here.

The Christmas decorations are well and truly up around the shops now, so perhaps its time to start thinking about gift ideas. Eek! Well I've made a start and put together a group of fabulously fresh art and photography gifts all priced at less than US$20 via etsy. Perfect stocking fillers or unique office secret Santa pressies.
I'm loving our new DIY stationery over on 'i do' it yourself. So colourful and fun, hopefully there are some DIY brides out there who like it too :)
Yeay! We made the homepage of etsy today for the first time, what a fluke I just happened to log in and catch it! It was our 'Flowerbox in Paris' print from a selection I chose to go with 'i do' it yourself's french fancy wedding theme that we're currently updating.
Soon to be our new family member, we pick him up in a month.
Hooray! Our DIY wedding store in now up and running on etsy. Click here. To start things off we've got some lovely gum leaf design DIY stationary perfect for an Australian wedding.
What a weird morning! The view today as Sydney gets hit by a dust storm. You can usual see across to Manly, but not today.
To celebrate all the lovely feedback and features we've been getting for our 'Flowerbox in Paris' fine art photograph. We're doing a bit of a sale on this print at our redbubble store here. Canvas prints were from $108 now only $72! Framed prints were from $144 now only $96! Bargin!
Here's a little look at something new I'm working on at the moment. Titled 'Nature Abstract I' until I can think of something a little more interesting. I think its pretty striking and would look great blown up to a really big size. All for sale on the redbubble site.
The lovely Victoria from sfgirlbybay selected a couple of our shots to feature in her flickr faves this week - 'Flowerbox in Paris' and 'The Rockpool'. To be included with such beautiful work... what a nice way to start the week!
I decided that I've been having so much fun putting together mood boards for 'i do' it yourself, I'm going to start making more of them on creative monsoon. So here we go, this is the week that was:
• A favourites find via decor8 this week were these beauitful butterfly magnets from Olio United.
• I've been loving the 'Favourite Things' series on decor8. While blog owner Holly makes her move overseas, each week a guest blogger has show us their favourite things. This lovely bedroom is from Simplemente Blanco and inspiration wall is from the home of Selina Lake.
• I bought this beautiful ring yesterday from etsy seller Linkel Designs
• Been swimming in beauty products this week, my desk is surrounded! But my absolute favourite has to be the Rock Princess perfume by Vera Wang.
• Finally after so many test pots we've got the right shade of white picked out to paint our house - which is great because I'd started to get a bit sick of white.
• Summer dress shopping!
• Blueberries are out again! Yeay! Lovely photo by Piccoline Photography.
• Our new tshirt design released - CMYK hearts. Available through our redbubble shop online.
• Our Jacaranda print has been getting some lovely feedback and was featured in an etsy treasury (which is where I spotted the lovely flower ring)
We've started a new theme over at 'i do' it yourself. An Australian bush wedding. Really pleased with the mood board from this one, and its shaping up to be an interesting month.

Happy Fathers Day! See, I got it right. I'll never be cake maker then, least not one of these guys...
???
Happy Fathers Day... have some poo.
Ive been laughing for hours at the Cake Wrecks site, full of weird and wonderful cake disasters.
I've got lots of plans for some new tshirt designs, just hope I can find some time to get them done! But managed to get this one finished today - cmyk hearts. On the redbubble site :)
Its been another busy weekend, starting with my taxi not showing up Friday night to take me to a photoshoot. So that was put back to Saturday - just what I want to be doing on the weekend! But still managed to fit in a nice little bush walk and snapped a few native plants. Does anyone know what they are?
Loving this image found on ffffound! Not only does it feature my favourite colour - purple - but what a great idea to make all these different shots look like they are actually one building. Might have a go with some of my Italian and Portugal shots.
I'm loving these new fragrances from benefit at the moment. The packaging design is SO cute! Each bottle comes in it's own little house. Adorable!
As I said before we're still going through the New Zealand photos, I managed to finish this shot off tonight. Aaron started with a lovely HDR image of the Port Hills, Christchurch, NZ and Ive added a little texture and tweaked the colours. Its got a lovely rich tone to it, very pleased with how it turned out.
Earlier this month we went back to NZ and we've finally got through all the photos from the trip. I'm still working on a few 'arty' shots but Aaron's done some amazing panoramics, (click on them for a bigger view).
Available as usual through our redbubble page here
