Today we headed down south to check out Sharky's, a proper dog friendly beach in Coledale just over an hour out of Sydney. I read there was a lot of contention around making this a off leash beach but when we arrived I was a little surprised to see Sharky's has two other lovely beaches either side for our human friends. We drove all the way from Sydney as I'm sure others do, and we'll certainly be going back. I really hope Sharky's stays as it is. If you have a dog this place is a must, not only is it a lovely beach in it's own right but there are plenty of puppies running around just having a good time.
It's a shame there are not more places like this around. I was thinking about it on the drive back - we have more nudist beaches than dog friendly, just how many nudists are there in Sydney?
Anyway, it was Scampi's first visit to a real beach and he loved it! Rolling in the sand, bouncing over the waves and his favourite part - rolling on the dead seagull he found.... ewww.

Our baby has made the local paper (third one down) and he's a finalist in our councils doggie competition! Not surprising for such a pretty boy. :)
It's about time our little man was immortalised on a t-shirt, so here are a couple of new designs for all you french bulldog fans. They are also available in kids and baby sizes and even come as stickers! Available from our redbubble store.
Scampi and I are home alone this weekend while daddy heads off to NZ. How about a pretty pink glamour shoot while he's away? he he he

Our four legged friends have been strutting their stuff on the catwalks of New York as part of the Fashion Institute of Technology's annual Pet Fahion Show. And don't they look gorgeous, not to mention happy! Must be the first time the catwalks of NY fashion week have seen such cheerful and well fed models...
