There is one thing I don't have in my house - a clock. Hanging a clock on your wall is like hanging a piece of art, so you have to like it. Well that was never more true than with this clock by Dutch By Design. Its only £45 and comes with all the frames, bit of a bargin! I've never found one I like until I saw this on the decor8 blog. Its also a great idea if you wanted to make one yourself.

I found it really surprising as I started to plan my wedding next year that there were not more resources out there to do it yourself. For those of you who don't like patterned wallpaper, look away now, because you're REALLY not going to like this! Ever wondered what to do with all those left over bits of paper? Well you could go a little nuts and try a wallpaper patchwork. You could always start off by blue-tacking them to the wall, just in case not everyone in the house appreciates it as much as you. But I think this idea would work really well in a kids room, I've always like the idea of using vertical stripes of different wallpaper.
