Dont worry I didn't forget about New Zealand with our new buttons Ts. But instead of buttons I've gone for cats eye shells. I used to find these a lot one beach walks when I lived in NZ and I think they make a great image.
Ive mentioned it in a few previous posts but I wanted to write a little piece about redbubble today just to introduce it properly.
Redbubble is an Australian based website, launched globally last year, thats a bit like flickr. A place to upload your art and photography and share it with others. But the difference with redbubble is that you upload high resolution images, these can then be turned into cards, t-shirts and prints and bought by people.
Now dont get me wrong, I love flickr, but for some reason I've had much more feedback on my images through redbubble. Such great feedback I've got a bit of a big head at the moment :) Sites like redbubble and flickr are a great way to test products. I now have a pretty clear picture of which images people like the best and that will help me decided how many copies of a print to produce when selling at the markets etc.
I also love the fact that people can buy such a wide variety of print options, from greeting cards to fully framed prints. And the interface and previews are fantastic, you get a really great idea of how it will turn out.
So if you see me pointing you towards redbubble, check them out, the feedback on print quality has been really great and the options are excellent.
The lovely girls over at chocolatecreative have added some cute little cushions to their range since I last stopped by their site. Perfect for springing into spring.
Today we saw possibly the cutest thing ever. Driving just north of Kaikoura (in New Zealands South Island) we came across the Ohau stream walk. 10mins to a beautiful waterfall that also doubles as a nursery for baby seals while their mothers are off gathering food. They came right up to us and were happy to play tug with bits of bark or fetch sticks. So cute!
