This just made me laugh so much this morning! I'm such a geek. It's from The House of Mouse on Etsy.
The lovely girls over at chocolatecreative have added some cute little cushions to their range since I last stopped by their site. Perfect for springing into spring.
We were very lucky the other day to see three whales on our tour just off the Kaikoura coast. We managed to get pretty close to the last whale and the backdrop was pretty stunning.
It's great being back in New Zealand at the moment. There is a such a strong arts and crafts community here and there is always so much great work to see.
The other day I came across the stunning work of Sharon Finn who constructs the most amazing work with cages, chandeliers and bodices using vintage jewellery, buttons, crystals and more.
You can see more on her website. Or visit the showroom at 151 Newton Rd, Newton, Auckland.
Today we saw possibly the cutest thing ever. Driving just north of Kaikoura (in New Zealands South Island) we came across the Ohau stream walk. 10mins to a beautiful waterfall that also doubles as a nursery for baby seals while their mothers are off gathering food. They came right up to us and were happy to play tug with bits of bark or fetch sticks. So cute!
